Cats are generally considered as low-care, low-maintenance, and economical pets as their care and feeding requirements are minimal. Cats are not voracious pets; they can subsist on just a bowl of kitty food each day. They don't need to be walked or given regular bath. Yet while cats are able to take care of themselves, it doesn't mean they don't require any care from their owner at all. Sure they are less emotionally attached than a dog, but they still require affection. There are some basic steps to be done to ensure that one's is happy and healthy. Some of these steps can be easily accomplished, while some can be complicated, particularly if you are new to cat ownership.
